High Commission of India, Guyana hosted an interactive session bringing together members of the Indian and Guyanese business communities to discuss emerging opportunities for India-Guyana cooperation in business and economic sectors
Emphasising private sector involvement, High Commissioner Dr. Amit Telang stressed the need for bilateral cooperation. Notable speakers discussed various sectors such as oil & gas, skill development, and technology.
Mr. Saju Bhaskar, Founder & President of Texila American University Consortium, EKAA HRIM Earth resources management Inc, was a key panelist along with Foreign Secretary, Mr. Robert Persaud and other eminent panelists including Dr Vishnu Doerga, Mr. Haimwant Persaud, Ms Renata-Chuch-A-Sang.
IGCC treasurer Ms. Shaleeza Shaw and Mr. David Fernandes, Sr. Vice President of IGCC also delved into the issue of emerging opportunities and provided insight into doing business in India and Guyana, overcoming perceived hurdles.
